If your not used to taking meds I would tell you not to plan on doing anything after you take it you will sleep and feel tired the rest of the day but if that's what it takes is rest to get your back better than there is no problem. If your really worried and live alone make sure someone calls you every couple of hours to check on you.

Soma (Carisoprodol) is considered a quite strong skeletal muscle relaxant. It's side-effects are minimal, more likely to those who are Soma-tolerant. When using medications such as this one, take caution when doing things such as driving or working with anything dangerous (machinery, electronics etc.

is bound to make you tired and possibly sluggish. It does indeed help with low back pain. I suffer from the same thing one surgery down, one to go. It's a viscious circle.but we're not talking about me ;-) If you're in pain, take the meds.

doc prescribed it to you after receiving a medical work-up and history and made the decision to put you on Soma. He weighed the risks versus the benefits and made the decision he did. I hope you feel better. PS: I've been on Soma for the past two years. It'll help atleast somewhat. S.C.
